Star Power Success Circle Sales Page [HTML] -- Molly needed a sales page for her brand new continuity program aimed at helping women business owners zap their negative limiting beliefs.

To do its job, the page needed to clearly differentiate the program by highlighting her focus on clearing your energy--yet do so in a way that's comfortable for her open-minded yet not necessarily woo-woo market. It also needed to capture her passion and inspire trust, since this type of work is fairly personal.

AMT Individual Sales Page [PDF] -- George wanted a sales page for a new product.--online software to plan for and minimize the alternative minimum tax...a subject that either ticks customers off or bores them to tears.

The copy had to keep the discussion of the tax relatively light and entertaining so we wouldn't lose visitor's attention and reassure them that the software would be fast, easy and safe to use. It also had to be persuasive yet avoid hype--which could be a total turn-off for this market and product.

ShipBuilding Landing Page [HTML] -- Krista wanted copy for a web page that tied together her new book about her signature ShipBuilding concept with a few of her existing services.

Landing pages are much more effective with just one call to action, so this page is meant to be a temporary solution until a mini-site is created. In the meantime, the page is focused on piquing visitors' interest in Shipbuilding and selling the book although other options are offered as well.

Appreciative Living Home Page [HTML] -- When you have a website focused on helping people create a more joyful life, you need a home page that makes them feel, well, "at home." The original copy just didn't do that.

It didn't take long for me to unearth what set Jackie's approach apart from the crowd--which had been buried in the previous copy. The new copy fixes this while striving to establish a rapport with the visitor and building that all-important know, like and trust factor. And of course, it focuses on getting them to join the email list. And in fact, opt-ins doubled on the home page after the new copy was posted.

AMT Individual Website [HTML] -- A new company needed copy for a corporate site that had been designed to help them build a list and promote its alternative minimum tax software product.

Again, the site had to make a complex topic seem more approachable. I also advised the George on a number of issues, such as steering them away from a creative concept they loved...but would have reinforced a myth that would ultimately hurt sales.

K. Coaching Website [HTML] -- This sales training and coaching client had a site that was hard for visitors to navigate and wasn't effectively communicating all that she had to offer. It was also focused on one industry and she wanted to start broadening her appeal.

I helped design a more intuitive navigation for her new site so visitors could find what they needed quickly. Then I created copy with broader appeal that was more sales-oriented yet professional--since her clients ranged from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.

Clinical Linkages HAI Program Page [HTML] -- Lisa was launching a new program to help hospitals reduce the number of health-care acquired infections. My job was to write copy that would persuade audience of head nurses and administrators to schedule a program at their location.

During the process, I recommended she add 3 more steps to her program that would ensure her client's follow-through and enhance the effectiveness of her program. While the extra time she'd need to spend was relatively small, the extra steps doubled the value of the program...and enabled her to double the fee.

Reduce My College Costs Now [HTML] -- A lot of business owners think they'll automatically be able to write good copy for their target audience because they used to be one of them--this client was a classic example of why that's usually not the case.

The copy Marc originally drafted for his new site was too technical and didn't gel with the parents who would be visiting. So I revamped the copy he had drafted for the new site  to make sure it established a rapport with parent visitors who have college-bound kids...and motivate them to take advantage of the firm's services.


Autoresponders

Kwikbinder email series [PDF] --Craig needed an email series to get new customers using the insurance referral system immediately after signing up. (Which of course, increases satisfaction and retention.) I wrote 10-message autoresponder designed to do exactly that.

Corporate Escape Coach Special Report [PDF Version] -- I created this special report based on an interview with the client. As a result, list opt-ins increased more than 230%!
